I believe to some degree we all struggle finding the beauty and strength within ourselves. I know this for a fact for me. Also, I have a hard time As a mom, I find myself in so many moments where I question myself. Am I making the right decisions by my kiddos? Am I giving them the tools on how to make their own decisions and be independent thinkers? In addition, am I teaching them how to be kind and caring? And, the big one…do I have the strength and energy to answer ONE more question or make ONE more snack?!
When the kiddos are out of school or on the weekends, I always take them with me to workout. It is one of my absolute favorite things to do with them. In fact, they’ve actually started to ask to workout with me! Every now and then, when I’m hitting the gym with them, someone will turn to me and compliment me on a job well done. When I am at the store and a stranger compliments my kiddos on their manners. When I watch with my own eyes their empathy and care for others. Also, when I see them working hard on a project for school and they take so much pride in their work. THIS is when I feel my strongest.
My heart swells with pride, and I know all of MY hard work of being a momma is paying off. And hopefully I am raising these two little human beings who will make a BIG difference in this world. I always say you never know if you are doing the “right” thing. Most of the time I am going with my gut. Being a mom is one of the hardest jobs. But it is where I find my strength. I am I am so thankful these littles call me Momma.
