I am here to tell you post-traumatic hurricane disorder is a real thing. Irma knocked me down and I am honestly still trying to recover. But I am thankful we have no damage and really the only thing we had to deal with is no electricity for a week. I realize how disastrous this storm could have been for our town and thankful we were spared. Praying for the ones who haven’t been as lucky as us. And I have a renewed empathy for ones who have had to experience the anxiety and prepping for a major storm hitting their area. I have begun to document our experience and will share soon. Meanwhile, fall has arrived!! And even though we do not get to break out the sweaters for a while does not mean I cannot indulge in crushing all of the fall essentials. You might even see me sporting my cutoffs with a sweater. Call me crazy but I will sacrifice sweating just to be able to indulge in all my fall favorites.
