Confession: I LIVE in basics. A buttery soft plain white tee makes my heart sing, I’ve got stacks on stacks of my go-to, everyday jeans in my closet, and of course, a chic sneaker is like, totally my thing…dare I even say my style signature?!

I know, I know. The idea of “basic” gets such a bad rap these days. We hear, “don’t be basic” or “she’s so basic”…like it’s a bad thing? Seriously, can we stop with this?! As a busy mom, wife, friend, and blogger…I’m here to tell you that basics are beautiful. Why? Because basics are easy, effortless, and carefree…and honestly what’s more chic than that?!

So for those of us that are sometimes just WAY too busy living and loving life to deal with all the “extra” — let’s keep embracing the simplicity of basics.
