Florida-Friendly Fall Pieces
I love this time of year. Florida might not get that full Fall feeling, but we do get some colder temperatures in the mornings and evenings. Just enough to inspire me to dig out some Fall pieces from my closet and move on from my Summer clothes.
There are lots of Florida-friendly ways to enjoy Fall fashion. I’ve said this once, and I’ll say it again: layers are your friend. It’s the only way to handle a day that starts in the 60s, creeps up to the high 80s/low 90s, and then makes its way back to the 60s in no time at all.
This week, I wanted to share some of my tips for dressing for Fall in Florida.
Light Jackets
Light jackets are a must-have here. From jean jackets to shackets and flannels, you really can’t go wrong. They’re perfect for layering, and you can take them off and tie them around your waist for a cute, casual look as the day warms up. Here are some light jackets I’m loving right now.
Sweaters & Cardigans
Of course for the days that are too warm for a jacket, the cardigan comes in handy. I love how versatile cardigans are. You can wear them open over a tank, button them up to create more of a sweater look, wear a long one with a tee and some leggings…the options are nearly endless. Cardigans and light sweaters are perfect for Fall in Florida, and these are a few (a lot) I’m currently loving.
Sweater Dresses
And of course, you can’t go wrong with a sweater dress. Sweater dresses are great because you get the warmth of a sweater with the breeziness of a dress. It’s the best of both worlds. I love pairing a sweater dress with some of my favorite sneakers or boots, depending on the occasion. Here are some great sweater dress options available right now.
What’s your go-to Fall look?
