How to Wear Mom Jeans

Let me just tell you how much my mom will LOVE this post. She would never say “I told you so” out loud to me, but I know exactly what she will be thinking as she reads this! Just a short few years ago I talked her into finally buying low-rise denim.  I think this is the same year I talked her into wearing smaller frame sunglasses only to talk her right back into the oversized sunglasses. LOL! I went into total Mandy-mode and gave her all the reasons she needed to ditch her jeans and buy new ones with a lower-rise. She fought me tooth and nail and gave me all her reasons not to buy them, including not wanting her rear-end hanging out. I feel like I can’t write what she really said, but you get the picture.

Fast forward just a few short years and y’all I have turned into my MOM! Which I am sure there are many of you saying that exact phrase on other levels. On the MOM JEAN level (and a few others) I totally sound like my mom these days. All those reason she gave, yep, you guessed it are the ALL the reasons I love the Mom Jeans. But honestly, I could have a whole closet full of Mom Jeans. I love everything about them including how the keep my tummy and my booty hidden. They are so flattering with the high waist and pocket placement. There really isn’t anything not to love about them.

With a Tee

All day, everyday for me!! I love a good white tee as much as a graphic tee. My graphic tee collection could get out of control pretty quickly! Tie it up, tuck it in, or half tuck. With the high waisted denim, all will pair perfectly with your Mom Jeans.

 With a Feminine Top

Feminine Tops are perfect for Spring and Summer. They give denim, which can be a fall and winter staple, an airy and Springy feel. Floral tops and a pretty white eyelet blouses are my favorite!

 With a Striped Top

As I was searching for tops that I loved right now, I saw a strong common theme, STRIPES. So many cute summery striped tops right now.

With ANY Shoe

The amazing thing with denim is not only can you wear pretty much any top, but shoes as well! From BIRKENSTOCKS to WEDGES. So many options to dress your jeans up or down.
